What Should I Do When My Uber Driver Has an Accident?

When you are involved in any motor vehicle accident, you should always check yourself for injuries. If you are well enough to exit the car, use your phone to summon the police and emergency medical services. Then, keep your phone handy and snap as many photographs as possible. Take pictures of the Uber car, the accident scene, skid marks, and other vehicles involved in the accident. It might also be a good idea to take pictures of any traffic controls near the accident. 

It’s a good idea to contact an experienced Uber accident lawyer before you speak with anyone else about the circumstances of the accident or the nature or extent of your injuries. You may not yet know the seriousness of your injuries until you calm down. It may even take a couple of days and a number of medical tests to determine the extent of your injuries.
