Alex H. Longo

Alex is a Florida Bar Certified Civil Trial Attorney practicing in the Tampa Bay area.  He provides legal representation in Florida for a variety of different issues, including auto accidents, slip and falls, among other forms of personal injury cases.  He graduated from The State University of New York at Oswego with honors in 2012.  Upon completion of his undergraduate studies, he spent time interning simultaneously with the financial planning firm the Symphony Financial Team and the law firm Rissman, Barrett, Hurt, Donahue, McLain, & Mangan P.A in Orlando, Florida.

After obtaining a working knowledge and understanding of the practice of law, Alex enrolled at the University of Florida Levin College of Law.  While attending law school at UF in 2014, he learned the court system from the inside via a position with the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida located in Tampa.  The following year he accepted a position with Southern Legal Counsel, Inc., a Florida statewide not-for-profit public interest law firm committed to the ideal of equal justice for all and the attainment of basic human and civil rights.

Alex earned a Juris Doctor Degree in 2016, graduating with honors from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.  He was admitted to the practice of law in 2016 and immediately began working with renowned trial lawyers at Banker Lopez Gassler P.A. before becoming associated with The Ruth Law Team. In June 2026, Alex achieved Board Certification in Civil Trial Law from The Florida Bar.
