Michael Lee, 29, was found in a retention area 80 feet below the overpass at Highway 301 and I-4. The Tampa accident happened before 8.am. on August 6, 2013. Hillsborough county deputies are looking for a hit and run driver. A metallic green pain chip was found at the scene of the accident.
Deputies believe that Lee was on his way to work when he was hit by the unidentified vehicle. Two witnesses saw the backpack fall from above but did not see the car that hit the bicycle.
